Description
I originally wasn't going to do the Kanto heroes, namely because I'm sick to death of Kanto. But here we are. Mostly because knowing what he has is going to be useful. To me. I do like how the outfit came out. I tried to blend it with classic Kanto, and a wee bit of Alola. Also keep in mind, for these silly little...cards? Profiles? Whatever these are, those depicted tend to be several decades older than whatever picture I use for them (usually the one from the games). Imho, if Red continued to focus on training, especially into adult years, he'd eventually evolve his stupid electric mouse. He's not Ash, and Raichu deserves love.
I always liked that he chose a Bulbasaur, in most universes, but for this I drew heavily from the manga's team. Manga-Red is as close to my version as the canon gets, probably because that incarnation actually uses words.
