The Prince of Kalos himself. His region has an ancient tradition of attributing historically noble titles to the strongest Trainers of Kalos, and among such 'nobles' the secret of Mega Evolving was closely guarded...until this very Trainer helped Professor Sycamore make the knowledge mainstream. Being a descendant of AZ himself, his title of prince became more solid once the old king took power, though it soon became clear that modern Kalosians were fed up with the constant shifting of power based on battles.

Also like his relative, the prince here was blessed with immortality of the kind granted to AZ. Kalos' guardian grants a lengthy life, but does not halt the aging process, leaving the humans it blesses to grow tall and gray in their time. They are also particularly hard to kill.
