Deep in my bones, straight from inside.

I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones,
enough to make my systems blow.

"Rocky!" The pink haired teen yelled at her horse.
The rain was making the mare skittish and that was no good on such slippery terrain. With her head thrown up high and her hooves flying as the horn sounded, they started the course. Britt threw her hands forward, tightening the reins as fast as she could. The energetic outburst surprised the young woman, as her horse was usually smart enough as to not waste precious energy on the start of the course.

The winds howled and at the speed the pair were going at, the light rain hit them like bullets. Brittany had long given up holding tight onto the reins, and had pretty much dropped them enough for the mare to stretch out, bolt, and rip up the ground. The rider trusted her horse to get them through the course with no faults, and all Britt had to do was follow the path horses before them had laid out in the wet muddy grass.

As they cleared the last jump and came over a small hill, the finish line came into view. Brittany leaned forward, bracing herself for the next gait. You see, the little mare had five gaits: walk, trot, canter, gallop, thoroughbred. Rocky was a smart mare, and when she saw the exit laid out in front of her, she lurched forward. Brittany grinned and laughed at her horse's excitement, grabbing mane and sticking along for the ride. They were both dirty, wet, and cold as they trotted out, but the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction was sensational. Brittany could not have expected that run to go any better.
