Rory deeply wished he had time to marvel at scenery. The VS staff had really put effort into the sight-seeing possibilities en route, and not even the drizzle was spoiling it. Geode was revelling in the opportunity put his vast muscles into propelling his imense mass over the sodden ground. He blew great clouds from his nose with every stride, which danced in the air as they pushed past. The pale and soaked man braced his legs as they tackled a large stone wall, and Geode heaved their bodies over the shimmering rock and to the raised expanse of grass beyond. Dirt continued to fly beneath the rain of hooves and water but Rory took in a gasp. Even as they were making their way past to a more densely wooded area, he couldn't help but turn and stare at the henge by the river. The light bounced over the shining wet rocks and cast looming shadows over the little plain by their side, sun clawing away at the cloud cover and making the drizzle glitter. He would have to find out where this was before they left and come back, it was too good to pass up. Turning away, Rory forced his head back into the competition and made a beeline for the fallen logs marking the next jump.

sorry its kind of short but in all i'm quite happy with the outcome.
