I disliked the background, so I re-drew it.

I LOVE drawing rain ;-; And isn't she pretty ? I'm so proud of her :3
Couldn't help writing a little story:
In the afternoon, just when they were about to start, it turned to dark clouds and started raining heavily. This made Uppie nervous. She hated rain. Julia was barely able to control her mare who was almost about to rear and run away. She petted the mare's head.
"Psssssshhhhh.", she whispered. "It's fine, little girl. It's just water." It was their turn now and she rode towards the start.
"GO !" she screamed when she heard the starting sign.
The mare fell into an fast, but calm canter. It all went well, but they had a lot of trouble because the ground was so wet that the mare almost fell down.
The horseshoes were made for that kind of weather, but even the spikes were not enough to keep the mare on her feet.
They both were wet to the skin and dirty.
The young mare was slightly enerved by the raindrops that seemed to be everywhere, even in her ears.
She angrily shook her head. Julia couldn't do anything except whispering calming words into her ear. It was the first XC event for the mare, but she was doing well. But it's bad for an XC horse to be afraif of rain. Julia sighed.
She would have to work a lot with this mare, but she already liked her.
Uppie was in fact the friendliest horse she'd ever met. She loved children, dogs, other horses, any human and was always calm and polite, well, except when it came to water.
Uppie's father was the famous Gogether Dash. Julia had known that he'd make a good foal when she chose him. The blue-eyed black stallion was just amazing, just as Uppie's mother Synesthra, the lovely buckskin mare.
Back to business. They climbed up a fairly steep hill and came out of the forest. The forest had seemed to be endless. Julia was kinda happy to be out of it, on the other hand she was worried because there was no protection against the rain anymore.
She worst part was when they reached a muddy part of the trail. There were puddles anywhere and the water did not seep away anymore.
The next obstacle was coming fast, it was a tree lying on the ground. Julia already focused on it while her mare focused on not stumbling.
It took Julia one push into the mare's stomach to make her wake up. She lifted her head and saw the obstacle coming closer.
The mare suddenly enhanced her pace when she approached the next jump, hoping to reach the finish line as soon as possible.
