Description Just one of my old models from many years ago Ive built as a junked flat bed. Originally, I just had it painted flat greed with black fenders, and I had pastel dust on it. Since I couldnt find any dcnt truck wheels I had for smaller scale semi truck wheels on it. Its been sitting in my parts bin for awhile, then I decided to rebuild it and make it rusty! I also had a trashed 35th scale army truck with huge wheels, which looked like 24th/25th scale wheels to me so I used those, sine they looked more vintage looking. I wanted it to look like a rough, unrestored flatbed, that's still driveable, so I added grease stains on the chassis and engine, and an "Antique Auto" Texas plate.
I also added a roll of rusty barbed wire, which tou can kinda see on one of the stakes.

The whole stake bed was all scratchbuilt years ago from balsa, and the tail gate and latch was made from bits of styrene. The chains are just jewelry chains I had left over from building a ship model. I added my usual engine detailing, plug wires, fuel lines, hester hoses and a wired horn

This is really nice. Reminds me of the Demon's truck in "Jeeper's Creepers"

Thanks! It looks way better than my first attempt, when it had the small scale semi truck whells on it. Durring the rebuild I used part of the stake bed you sent me

Yeh it saved me from having to make a few parts! lol There were a few pieces that were missing from the bed, which were parts I had to do some measuring on. But the pieces for the base of the bed just happend to fit, all i wad to do was flip them around lol

Very good use of the parts... btw, I went through my spare parts, found a spare Z'd glue bomb AMT T-bucket chassis with one broken crossmember and one completely gone, and all my extra wheels/tires, for the next trade. The wheels and tires will probably fill a pint Gladware container...

Cool sounds good! On the last T Z'd chassis I was able to make a cross member for it pretty easily..its the rear one right?

Front one... the last one was the rear.

It could be made fairly easily with styrene stock and sheet styrene.

Thanks! I still have a buncha of the last batch of rust dust Ive made for an earlier project, thought it would be perfect for it
