Wow, it looks simply amazing, man. So does this have an opening hood?

Looks good... did you use the 1/18 hood?

Sounds cool... too bad that hood didn't work, but it's not eligible for most contests, so something like that might not matter as much as the upgrades like the wood cowl and steering column (both of which are great) did...

Yeh those 2 thing were the only things that would have kept bugging me eveytime I saw it if I didnt fix them. But the hood is something I can live with, and the outside detail on the kit's hood, and the dicast's hood are the same down to the rivet detail.

The only time I've ever seen white wheels look good on a car.
Classy man, classy.

Lol XP They actually came like that, and I just left them alone becuase I wanted to match the one on the box. It is an unique look, I dont think I even have anything with white tires, or anything as early as 1909! lol

That is very nice. I'm jealous of your pin striping and accent details skills.

Thanks! To be honnest i was alil nervous about it, I dont pinstripe things often. I origianlly wanted to hand paint the stripes til I came close to screwing up, then I decided to go with the sharpie! lol The striping isn't 100% perfect, but back in those days everything was hand painted, with no masking tape, so it was normal to see a few imperfections.
