Description I found a buncha these gas pump kits in a dusty corner of a hobby shop. Its an old 24th scale kit from Curbside Dioramics. The body of the pump is solid resn, and the rest is made out of brass wire (which you have to bend and shape yourself) white metal, and clear plastic, for the glass cylinder, and globe.

This is the same place I bought my AMT, Model T double kit, and since I knew I wanted a stck T, I had to get a vintge gas pump to go with it, even though its a deccade newer than the T.

The only issue I had with this kit were the decals, there were quite a few that didnt make it on the model because they desentigrated! Yeh I know I should sprayed on decal sealer, but I thought since the kit was so nicely sealed up, the decals would be fine. Ive seen 30 year decals go on without breaking up, and this kit is from 1993. Next one I buy, I'll definately spray some sealer over the decals! lol

The makings of a diorama!

Decals are weird. Just depends on who made them. I've used 20 year olds that while they broke (mainly my fault) I was still able to position them and they stuck. Yet, had newer ones 3-5 year old that just refused to adhere (mainly Revell's) and just had to be trashed.

Yup!

I actually had to do that on the 2 decals on the base of the pump, but the Gasoline brand, one didnt break up. On one, only a small corner came loose.
