Wow great modelling..!! I'm yet to try the rust paint.. If these were'nt sitting on rough concrete.. I would have had a tough time telling them from real..

Wow... Your modeling skills kick the shit out of mine...
Thus far I've built a '49 Merc lead sled, a Matranga Merc clone using a Jimmy Flintstone resin body, and a '53 Ford Victoria cruiser. Currently working on a '32 Ford hot rod and a '36 Ford swoop coupe.

Well, yes and no. Yes, I do, but no, they're not on DA 'cuz the pics aren't very good. I hate hi-res digital cameras.

So my dad offered to lend me this big box of a digital camaera(think it was one of the first models) and i said hell no! So now im stuck with a camera phone which doesnt take good pics of things upclose.....Hey t works great for taking pics of cars tho!

Yeah, but I'm used to film, not digital. Film is at least a little more forgiving than HD digital like my sister's camera.

Dang dude nice job!!! wow you worked really hard on the rust. actually i think you worked too hard. i found this stuff at a craft store where you paint on grinded up iron then put a "rusting solution" on it and let it set over night and boom, real rust!! check it out i used it to rust this model i made

Thank you! I Love that Impala you did, I love 60's Impalas too! lol
Actually it really wasnt much work, it just took a a week fot the steel wool to soak up in salt water, the another week to dry out. So yeh it took alot of waiting and patience. Whats this stuff called, is it "Rustall"?

Thanks, its something i picked up from a model magizine. I jus took some rusty steel wool, ground it up to rust dust, and sprinkled it over some wet, brown, craft paint I brushed over the whole truck.
The 1932 sedan in the back ground is the car i tried this out on first.

Here's another thing you can try: put steel wool bits and vinegar in an empty paint pot and leave it for a couple of days. You'll have "modeling rust" by then and the best part is that it's pretty handy hehe.

That almost sounds like what i did, but i let mine soak in salt water, for a week, then let it dry out for a week! lol So yeh yours sounds alil quicker lol
