Description A well painted scalemodel works just as well in artworks as pictures of the real deal. Here is a picture of a scalemodel resembling a German Steyr 250 used by the Wehrmacht in WW2. In this case the vehicle is already weathered.

Was this a model kit? Whose and what scale? I like how it's weathered, and I'm curious about the canva roll at the rocker panel?

Thanks Oldspaceguy... Yes this was a model from Wespe Models and I made it. It left a lot to be desired when it comes to detail and I had to scratchbuilt a lot to it to get it to a decent standard. The canvas roll on the side is a canvas "door" A lot of these old timey Kubelwagens were fitted with a door like this. One side of the canvas tarp was attached to the bottom side of the vehicle and the roll was pulled up. You can see one hingepoint just behind the grill in the side of the bonnet.
