Well, first off, this probably wasn't the best way to show Gale's new clothing (of sorts)... but you know when you get an idea in your head and you just can't get rid of it until you spit it out? *Coff* I know this is hard to see, even I got confused when colouring... ^.^;; to help you out a bit, there are four portrayals of Gale but only three faces which can be seen (anyone who can find the fourth face deserves a cookie! )Anyway, on with the program... ^.^;;; as previously mentioned, here is one of my Keepyr characters, Gale, making an appearance at last after about half a year's absence... @______o;;;; *watches the RSPCA run in yelling things about animal neglect* I haven't done a pic like this for even longer, so when you put together two kinds of neglect, this is what you get! XD So er.... what's happening here? It's a bit iffy to explain, but basically in the weird little story up in my head, the world where the Keepyrs run around in has an artificial 'Skye' which is a type of bridge... don't ask why I made Gale falling through it since I'm not too sure myself... X___X;;; I think I was just after a play on words. XD And don't worry, Gale won't be turning into a purple pancake, her Cardinal of Bryath (equivalent of the element Air) will save her fuzzy bum.

I have a question, how much do you resize your pictures, generally?
And now that my question is finished, I shall move onto the picture. It's quite amazing, honestly. The sky background and the light are particularily strinking, the level of detail you put into the clouds, and into the individual beams of light is just... gaaah. As to the character, I'm awed by the way you portrayed her falling. The way her expression changes is awesome. Her hair and fur is so detailed, it's just.... goodness. :needs a thesaurus: The coloring and shading on the clothing is excellence, this is a very, very cool-looking picture. The concept is very original as well. Great work ^_^

At least, I think I like it. To be honest I'm not really sure what's going on. For all I know, you could tell me that's a picture of dead babies and I'd have to believe you. Grant me that it's 12:07 in the morning and I had to make a three and a half hour car trip today. This is probably one of the most stunning pieces of art I've ever had the pleasure of bearing witness to. The shine isn't too bad though, I want to say that to start off. I find the picture, whatever it may be (it's slowly focusing the longer I stare at it) very pleasant to look at. The detail that you put into this picture is fabulous however, I can see the intricate lines working their way all through the picture. The faces, I think, are the only exception to that rule, there aren't as detailed as one may hope. I like the small touches you did that gave the notion that the character was falling; it added some value to the picture, since the only other thing to denote decent would be a lack of ground. Ah, now that I can see the picture for what it truly is, I can definetely appreciate what you've done here. Great job Zen. I think my largest complaint is something that I can't really complain about, and that's the background. I suppose for this purpose there wouldn't really be one would there. The title to the picture, however, is something that will pain me in the recesses of my mind for years to come. Skye is falling. ::mutters:: I'm going to do something constructive, like sleep.

It took a little bit of staring, but I finally could see what was going on! You are definately a master at showing movement in your pictures, this is by far a perfect example of that! ::dances:: I found 4th Gale's face! It looks like 3rd Gale is simultaneously wacking her in the face with her thigh and her tail! :3 I love that new costume! :
ogles at the ribbonly wavey clothness:: Although, at first glance I thoght the Gale in the very foreground was wearing a scuba flipper!! That was a strange moment of "...Zen has completely lost her mind...Gale has gone scuba kitty?!" I've been anxiously waiting these new revamps of your characters since you announced that, and this is certainly not a let down!

you have way more patientce and drive than I. I could never do something like this. Its amazing, it really is. You're right, it IS a litle difficult to figure out whats going on, but your explanation helped, and the more you look at it the more you understand. I love the swirling hair and fabrics, and those poses look like they were difficult to draw...........there is something about the last one that bothers me a little, but I'm not sure what it is exactly.......
I'm loving the "clothing" you've designed for her hehe it suits her, I think. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your Keepyrs in their new dress! After all, ya can't be showing favoritism here - the others may get jealous!

You should have guessed that when you made the challenge about finding the fourth Gale's face I would take it. (Oh and I did find it by the way The third Gale's tale is covering it

Anyway, beautiful work again, now I'm going to go do some more line pencil sketches cause I'm still afaird to colour any of them lest I ruin them. *sigh* Keep it up!

Um, okay, I can make out a few faces and the details of the clothing... but to be honest the picture is just really confusing, to me. I think it's because of the over-usage of white areas, including those in the background, that make it hard to see the image. Or is it just me?
But I do like how you made the hair so flowy and natural, and the clothes as well. And the expressions.
