I managed to gain several kilos during my last 9 months there, myself, but that wasn't from overindulging, sadly XD I found it fairly doable but I just got pretty sick and miserable that I had to throw in the towel and come home. It was also a little depressing living alone and being reliant on the busses to get you anywhere, including visiting friends that lived multiple routes away. @_@

Ah I see, that's totally understandable. Two weeks was more than enough for me - the pace was so hectic and the sheer number of people blew my brain, especially coming from a city with a population that's half a mill tops! @__@ Kudos for sticking it out, sounds like it was a challenge.
