Description I followed this female red-tailed hawk while she hunted for almost two hours. I had many shots of her lifting off from trees and stumps, but she wasn't having the best of lucky hunting. Finally, she captured this meadow vole right in front of me. After a little while of just staring at me with the vole in her beak, she took off to enjoy her lunch. I didn't follow. I uploaded a really big version of this shot, because it doesn't look like much from the thumbnail.
