Another picture which is based off a dream I had recently. It was one of those really vivid dreams, much like the concrete wolf I had earlier.This time, the dream had two very clear protagonists and was similar to a classic platform game in the way it flowed. With a hint of Banjo-Kazooie and Midna/Wolflink.
There was a heroic-looking fox with a rabbit in a suit of armor on his shoulders. It wasn't completely anthropomorphic because when he ran, the fox ran on all fours, but stood up to fight or when he wasn't moving. It seemed like they were on some kind of quest in a land filled with castle ruin and open plains. The fox seemed more like a wolf, being capable of defeating any opponent, until he met his match to a bizzare creature that looked like the silhouette of an emperor penguin made of tar, and was forced to retreat in shame.
I'm probably going to have to make a separate account for my "dream" series, because I have way too many projects on this account and people would just get too confused. lol.
Anyway, I'll flesh out the story of these two more later on when I have time, right now I'm sort of in a hurry.
Please give advanced critique, especially on the BG.

I always saw that fox guy to be more of a blue color
and the rabbit to have yellow/gold tinted armor.

Great picture, better then I will ever manage. I like the wispy yet foofy clouds. And I wish I had dreams like that where there's an actual storyline really and can inspire you to make something, my dreams are just crazy, messed up crap.Anyways, brilliant!

That sounds like an amusing dream! If this was a real game, I'd probably play it. The designs of them are quite nice and it look like it'd be fun.
I see little wrong with this. The perspective of the buildings in the BG is really wonky, like, the leaning one, the part that leans is facing one way, while the other parts are facing a different way. I don't know if that's intentional or not.

The ruins on the right: the broad dodging is "awkward." why is it lightened? I can see how it's supposed to be light from his magic hand or w/e but the wall is too far away for it to be that predominant. Also if that's the case then the chars themselves should be lightened a little more, like the front of fox's ears/feet/collar.

No, it's the sun that's lighting those ruins.
It's supposed to be dreamy, not realistic. In my dream, things sort of glowed with this light.

Nice work, I especially like the background. Only, the colors are a little saturated for it to be realistic, but it's cool regardless. Looks kinda like you did the lineart in Flash, right? Nice job.

If I had a dream like this, and if I was in it too, I might not want it to end. Unfortunately I don't often remember dreams. I think it has something to do with being woken up by an anoying alarm clock

I don't feel I can critique this because I don't like to give advice when I can't equal it. You're such a good artist. To me, the background is just plain gorgeous. All the colors are very vibrant and bright and it makes the perfect fantasy scene.
I'm digging the thought of a knight rabbit and a fox teaming up together though. What an unlikely pair! It seems to fit well with your style though. 
You do have very good dreams. I don't have dreams at all, or else I can never remember them.

Well he's not a 100% anthropomorphic fox. He needs them that length to be able to run on all fours.
