Good.
I do wish this character of yours was in the game though, (like A LOT.) It's has so much style and is pleasing to look at. Although maybe the backstory could be changed since we already have Barnaby as a blacksmith. Perhaps he could have been a squire, or was a young knight but decided to go off adventuring. Something like that. Or maybe he's Barnaby's brother so the whole blacksmith thing could stay. I would like to also ask if you got the idea for Clover from the "Blizzard Spell card" that can be played to mountains in the game. Card here- wiki.armello.com/index.php?titβ¦
Here's my thoughts on his stats:
HP: 4 (6?)
Fight: 4 (5?)
Wits: 5 (3?)
Spirit: 2 (1?)
Special Ability: Gets an extra die for perils, or he gets one free die spot filled in on perils. Another option is he has 10% better chance to get special items/followers from quests. (Since these should all be fitting for his "huge" amount of "luck.")
Also, could I possibly draw your character and post it on Deviant Art? I would give credit and you can post the picture on your own page as well. (May be a while before I draw him though.)
Anyways.... Nice drawing!

You know, I actually gave thought to what his stats would be, and those are all pretty much on the mark! Plus that special ability sounds perfect. I also thought that he could get a special version "Battle Armour" item (wiki.armello.com/index.php?tit⦠) but without the -1 die penalty to match that his armor was custom fit by his own craft.
It'd be cool to see how that would all play out in game, but you're right about Barnaby -- admittedly, the "blacksmith" part of his backstory was more justification on how he has the armor: it's a set he's worked on for years ahead of time after being inspired by stories of heroes and adventure, and he was way too bored in his village to keep up the blacksmithing work indefinitely. Of course, that was something the smithing mentor he was apprenticed under approved of.
If the character were to actually added to the game though, I agree, something like a squire would be a good idea. Perhaps that's something he's raised to be after his first few adventures. As it stands, though, he's just with some mercenaries in an ongoing story a friend and I are writing!
I didn't notice the similarity of the Blizzard Spell Card 'till now, though! That's a damn cool card, and I'm surprised I never really looked at what was in it before. Clover did actually have a cloak like that to start, but I decided to go with a scarf because of how he's supposed to be a "newbie" adventurer fresh out of the village. But that said, an older version of him would probably wear one just like that, I'd say!
As for drawing Clover yourself, I'd be flattered! (No obligation though, of course, your kind words are gift enough )
If you do draw him, all I'd ask is that you link the original work and myself in the description. I'd love to see how you do him, so keep me updated if you end up doing it!
And thanks, truly, for the wonderful comments -- I really had no idea someone would take such a liking to it, and it feels great!
