Hum...I have a question about the fabric.
It can be any fabric?
Or it has to be a not-frayed fabric?
Because If you cut the fabric already glued with the heat n bond, it doesnt get unravel?
Thanks and have a beautiful day! n/_\n

heat n bond helps it from unraveling a little bit, but not completely. I'd suggest using some sort of cotton since the heat n bond sticks to it pretty good.

Awesome! Too bad we don't actually have that "Heat n' bond" thing here in Argentina. I'll try it, so I really hope it works anyway only with sewing. xD Thanks!

I think we're a lot haha. Almost everyone knows "something" in a foreign language. But those with a proficiency, thooose are a minority.

you are my saviour. we have a cosplay store in my home town that sell the clouds and all you have to do is iron them on, but they are really expensive and since i used denim to make my cloak (15$ a meter) i have no money left so this is a really awesome tutorial thanks i will use it.

thanks for tuto, but i have a question: how do you do the topstich?
what is a topstich?>.>Β°
π: 0 β©: 1
Malindachan In reply to Rasne [2009-01-20 22:53:35 +0000 UTC]
a topstitch is just stitching over the edge of the material to keep it in place. (I do it around the edges of the clouds to keep the material from peeling at conventions)

i dont have a sewing machine do u think i could sew the cloud by hand??
π: 0 β©: 1
Malindachan In reply to Michiyo1234 [2009-01-08 03:33:00 +0000 UTC]
don't see why not :3
heck, you don't really have to do any sewing at all. I just prefer to do it becaue it keeps the fabric from peeling off at conventions.
