They need the Sharringan, Byakugan, And Rennegan Eye-Contacts. Also, anyone know where to find "S-Cry-Ed" CosPlay stuff?

I have to attempt a full Tobi cosplay some time. I have so far put it off for 3 conventions. *sigh* I want to make mine for casual ware as well as for cosplaying :3. Must have been a pain in the ass to get the collar like that. It so hard to find people who ware the cloaks up. I would love to buy one of yours but alas, no pay pal or money to use for that matter X3 My next con is in 8 days.

ooh! to make a regular jacket like the cloak! that would be cool to! [link] but without lungs, smoker, and white. and lots of belts X3 random, non useful belts

Are you taking commissions for this?
I would love ta wear this Anime Expo next year.
And I'm sorry if I missed something
in the description, for some reason
I'm not all here. @x@.;;
As for the red being too bright?
It looks good, it doesn't seem
ta too bright. Naruto wears orange. XD

Wow, you did a beautiful job on this coat! Judging from the fabrics you listed, it really has got to be the highest quality Akasuki coat around. The appliques look so perfect! I was reading a book about appliquing today, and it just doesn't sound as easy as you make it look. X3
This is a bit of a non sequitur, but I've been starting on a new cosplay that consists mainly of black leather. I'd been looking around for fabrics and am considering the "liquid leather" at Hancock's. Have you ever used it before?

I hope I don't sound too negative, but I think the costume could have benefited from a slightly darker and less saturated red color. It's something I see in a lot of costume design; they use too bright colors, and the fabric ends up looking too synthetic, if you know what I mean.
It doesn't ruin the costume. Far from it. I'm just saying it to give you something to think about next time around. :]
Overall, I think you've done a great job here. Keep it up.

taeliac In reply to FoRmAl-GaL [2008-08-28 17:03:58 +0000 UTC]
I'm not exactly sure how much, but I'm thinking in the range of $40-$60, depending on how much alteration to the pattern needs to be done... you'd literally get an envelope in the mail, with a brown paper pattern in it (or maybe white paper) that I've drafted to your measurements, and instructions on how to put it together...
