do you have to use bake dry clay of is it just faster to use? I'm just wondering since all I have is air dry.

can you just use sculpey?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Malindachan In reply to kisame31 [2010-09-13 03:05:01 +0000 UTC]
you can, but they'll probably be more delicate. you just have to be careful so they don't break.

What would a decent substitute for Super Sculpey be? I wanna make an army of clay birds XD

Malindachan In reply to Sweeneys-Kitten911 [2010-07-14 01:37:21 +0000 UTC]
well, I've seen people use normal sculpey and paper-clay or Model Magic. Super Sculpey is probably the most durable though

kinda just combined some slabs of clay until I had the right shape, and added a few more slabs for the arms.
I cut out the mouth last before I baked it

I was wondering, do these break easy?
I'm thinking of going to the anime con as Deidara and having all the clay birds in a bag XD
Or maybe just clay in a back XD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Malindachan In reply to Ergonina [2010-01-12 22:59:07 +0000 UTC]
after they've been baked and cooled, the clay is very difficult to break (super sculpey clay is supposed to be shatter-free)
