Description
*I used an art reference of Rikuo Nura in his nighttime Yokai form from the anime version of "Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan" raising his rather lethal katana that a Yokai exorcist once owned during the Edo period of ancient Japan 300-years-ago that the grandfather (as a young Yokai warrior) of Rikuo claimed as his own weapon to fight against the other evil Yokai around this small country town. If Rikuo in his nighttime Yokai form senses that his childhood friend, Kana is in great danger; he will come onto the scene leading the Night Parade of 100 Demons.*

This action pose was really exciting yet challenging to draw something out-of-my Comfort Zone. I know that the left arm holding the special demon-slaying katana was actually above Rikou Nura's eyes, yet this version adds a bit of mystery and danger. This artwork is going to become a lot of fun to color in, and shade in digitally. Wish me the best of luck with this new art project!
