*I was re-reading this really awesome manga over again and came across this pretty exciting dynamic action pose of Rikuo Nura in his nighttime Yokai form from the very underappreciated manga series, "Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan" by Hiroshi Shiibashi that was in the ShonenJump Manga magazine. Decided to draw this pose for more practice on the challenging foreshortening of both of his arms while wielding his katana that once belonged to a demon exorcist that Rikuo uses to protect as well as help humans in the vast territory of the Nura Clan in the countryside of Japan. It was a lot of fun to draw this world of the Yokai world of his grandfather who is the leader of the Night Parade of 100 Demons. *

If you're having trouble with drawing action poses or foreshortening, I encourage everyone to use poses from their favorite manga series!! Can't wait to get a chance to ink out and color in this new fan art of a new manga series. It was really fun to work on the shading of this determined yet fierce courage of a Yokai warrior at nighttime.
