Okay, finally another tutorial. This is my least favorite because I don't exactly do factory eyes and I'm not always confident in my eyes. But they work, so at least this is a little bit of guidance if you want to see how I do them. In retrospect I probably should have used a female pony.Related content

I'd probably, because your paint looks scratchy, try and get a pony with the same eye and body colour as the one I'm making. Or use a g3 pony (Not g1, too precious, and G4 is too hard to paint with eyes), and use dye if they were white. I can't even draw G4 eyes so I wouldn't wanna paint them XD

I've made 3 customs successfully in the past, but with my forth I've had major problems! I can't get the head back on, it's hard as a rock! Any advice?

Im pretty late but this can be a suggestion for next time, I guess.
Leave the head in really hot water for a bit? It makes it softer.
I think it would be easier to put it back this way. I mean, thats the method I use to take off the head as well...

Thanks for the reply, I eventually got the head on using a hammer as barbaric as that sounds. I've made 2 customs since then with no problems.

i am moving, and all of my paint is gone. unfortunately, i have torn out all of the hair of a sweetie belle, and looking at her, i feel the NEED to fix her into this character [link]
is it possible to use nail polish? or will it peel off? please tell me. i need to know.

Nail polish might work if you have mod podge or something

I'm using your tutorials to recreate my favorite Gen1 pony. I'm using metallic paint since the G1 had crystal eyes. What would you recommend for creating different tones for the iris?

Layer it up. If one dab doesn't work, let it dry and repeat. Or, alternatively, you may need a better quality white. I suggest trying Delta Creamcoat
