I love the overexposed effect - some of the white almost hurts your eyes to look at. Fits the scene, the surreal, hazy kind of quality, perfectly. I'd almost say the colors on the skin are too pink when they should be a bit more orange to fit the overall lighting, but it adds a nice depth to the lighting, instead.

amazing!
mesmerizing! the lighting is really good! and also the natural feel of it : )
critique? uhmm... maybe refining things, like the eyes of the guy in front.. but that is a question of style, really :3

Yeah, I didn't do a lot of little details on this one, despite the fact that it was probably drawn about twice the size of my normal pictures. I sort of like it without alot of little details, but I'm not quite sure...
Thanks alot ^_^

Very love pieve of artwork - I am mesmerised by the harmonic colour choice you have cleverly utilized here. The yellow/green/tangerine colour scheme definately complements the afternoon setting as it divulges such summery warm and serene ambience (I can also sense the fantasy tamosphere throughout the picture). On the other hand, the expressions of the characters are well captured. There's a slight feeling that the guy in the bottom is bores with the afternoon lesson, as he appears to be absent-minded, absorbed in his own daydream. Though somehow there's a tinge of intense atmosphere since the guy on the top seems to 'supervise' him. Very very nice/
By the way, since you ask for critigues, I suppose I'll give you one ^__^. I notice that you used smudging tool to blend the colour - I have to say that in many cases, excessive use of smudging tool makes artwork look too animated and unnatural - so you have to be careful if you choose to use the too . Anyway, along with the 'smudgy' look, your artwork looks slightly flat and 2-dimensional, it requires a bit more depth/volume. This can be achieved by adding a bit more contrast between the lighter and darker tone (so that it has more difinite 'shape'): I suggest that you use airbrush/paintbrush at low opacity(instead of smudge tool) to apply the shading/lighting, carefully by putting many layers of darker/lighter tone to get smooth gradient/colour transition. Additionally, adding a bit of individual hair strands will make the characters' hair more natural instead of 'gelled' .
The next thing will be purely nitpicks by the way the character in the top somehow looks a bit lost against the bright background, maybe it's because the lighting and the background are too similar in colour. Surely, adding a *tiny* bit of contrast (make the background slighly darker) will give the character more focus and emphasis. Last but not least , don't forget that such an area of shadow will be cast when one object is on top of another. For example a touch of shades is needed for the area between the hair and the face, the clothes and the skin, etc (for the guy on the top) - so that the objects won't look like they're floating/flying.
I believe that covers nearly everything I can think of. I apologize if I offend you by criticizing too much and being vague with my explanation (by the way my critique applies if you want to achieve realism). Anyway, the way to improve on an artwork is too work on the little and tiny details that seem to be unnoticable. Nevertheless, this artwork is great and it compells me to fave this !

Oh wow I haven't been here in a while and I keep forgetting how amazing you are at this. Are you still not planning to continue with art after high school? God this is so wonderful - you are so much better than most of the seniors continuing to fancy schools like Pratt... jesus

No words. Should have sent a poet. *_*
Nitpick time! You might want to consider toning down the background behind the teacher. It's really bright, and detracts from the peoplez.
That's all I can come up with. *100% Je- I mean faved.*

The weakest part of the picture is the curve of the bottom guy's nose...where it meets his brow. It's vaguely Cromagdon...the colors, though *raves* Oh, the glorious softness! And the hands are perfect! Gek!

Whooaaaaa that is a very strange part of his face, indeed. I think it looks so weird because you can't see the bridge of his nose (because it's white and so is his cheek). But I think I also drew it all funny XD Thanks!!

Nitpick: Guy-on-the-bottom's left eye is kind of wonky. If I had to say what was wrong with it, I'd say it was just a tad too small and a tad too angled. Just a tad. It's gonna be a bitch to fix, I think, and I don't envy you the task. >_o Also, guy-on-the-bottom's lips are...well, wonky. >_> The bottom comes out just a skosh too far, which kind of detracts from his face (at least for me.)
The border might look better if it were a little more ornate, I think. I'm not sure what I'd do with it, though.
Praise: I love guy-on-the-top. He's awesome looking. And the fabric...the coloring...damn, it's excellent! This looks like a real painting, with canvas and everything. ^^ The hair is gorgeous, and the metal...wow.
Another fabulous work. ^_^

nitpicking woo!! the whole pic seems kinda soft, no real hard lines. which looks good, i'm not saying that this is bad. but the crown on the bottom dude seems like it was just kinda pasted in there, there's a clean line between the crown and the hair. mainly in the back. and the hair in that area seem kinda... i dunno... wavy? bumpy?
aaaanyway, feel free to ignore everything i just said. it looks really frikkin' good. you were saying something about someones eye not looking goodm but i don't remember who you were talking about and both the eyes look fine. yay pretty pic!
