Wow, this picture sure has changed from the orignal concept (which was all based around this one face I drew that looked like Link, which I then proceeded to color badly and make it look like Nightmare from SCII.....and had alot to do with Link being in the Kokiri tunic in a dark forest)! It's now Link right when he wlks through the door to Morpha's chamber in the Water Temple, which means I get to not only color metallic bars over the door (if I show the door, I may just show the wall), but I get to reflect stuff in his shield and sword, AND do water reflections all over the place! Whew! It's going to hopefully be a very awesome picture, making my other Zelda fanart look like it was drawn with a pencil stuck up my ass. It already does,
Update: This is not the finished work, these are highlights from the almost-finished version that I have yet to upload. I'm still working out kinks in the background... Anyway, these are my favorite superfluous details, all of which are lost when it gets resized to a reasonable size... even these are smaller than the original.

O_O it looks soooo different from the original, Nightmare-version. It looks really cool, and more more Link-like. I like his overall pose, except for the arm thing Seth mentioned...and I can't wait to see more!

Wow! This is amazing! One small thing that I would say (and you can ignore it if you want) is that his right shoulder looks a bit too square if you knou what I mean, but other than that and the thing that seth mentioned it's really good so far ^_^

Oh, one thing I just noticed...
The arm / hand that's holding the sword (his left one) is kinda.... weird. I dunno. I don't think that your arm can move at the elbow like that.... and the way his hand is facing would be terribly uncomfortable.... (I tried putting my arm and hand like Linkie is, and it, like, totally doesn't work... 
So maybe have him holding the sword, like, from the back.... is you know what I mean...... Like, have his hand holding the sword from the opposite side of the hilt.
This is just constructive critisism, tho, so if I offend.... you can beat me up at school on Monday.

Although, of course, it's still rather wonky because technically he should have his hand facing the direction you said. I wanted it facing the other way because it looked cool, but let's see which way wins in the end . . .

HA HA HA! Wow, thanks for pointing that out to me. His arm is actually bent facing the camera, so his forearm should be shortened to make that actually work. Yeah. It's very painful to have your forearm out parallel to your shoulder and then your lower arm bent towards the camera X.X

i think that it looks good... the one thing that i *might* change is his chin. ya know, maybe making it a little more pointy... he does kinda have a pointy chin...
