We've got a lot of rain here in the Midwest, we could send you some. And hurricane season starts in a month, so things around here will really get hairy. With the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers out of their banks for over two months, any storms coming up from the Gulf will not give us much of a growing season.

Man, I thought I already went through your gallery and found all of the ARIA fanart. But you still surprise me.
Anyways, I really like this piece, its kinda like looking at a baby photo; you really get to see how your current style started to take form.

Hmm, probably a little from column a and a little from column b. I reckon she's probably bored waiting, I mean, lets face it: sitting in a bar by yourself is pretty awquard. That said, a Negroni is a pretty mouth-puckering drink, but in that weird way that makes you really want another. It's one of my favorite cocktails.

Hmm, I'll have to try one! I'm so boring when it comes to liquor (ordering the same things all the time). Though I do tend to find most cocktails too sweet for my taste... I mean, I love sugar as much as anyone else, but there is something to be said for subtle sweetness (think vodka colins or gin and tonic levels of sweet).

Yeah, I tend to dodge really sweet stuff as well. Negroni's definately worth a try, though be warned it's not something you can drink fast. Ever tried a... I think it's a Sidecar (either Sidecar or Southside, never can remember till I read the drinks list, the citrus one). Bit sweet, but pretty tangy as well which makes it ok.

That's equal measures of Gin, Sweet Vermouth and Campari stired and served over ice in a short glass. Garnish with orange peel.
Akira's is notably served in the style of The Bowery in Brisbane's Fortitude Valley, where the background bar is also based on.

ah, I see... I'm such an alcohol noob. I know what tequila, vodka, and rum are, and that's about it.

wow, thats quite snazzy. I love the background...even if your 'meh' about it.
My backgrounds are quite lame. I really do like it all. All the dark colors around the character make you really focus on her face. quite lovely.

haha, well Im suprised you actually think you have a 'disaster area' I think your art is pretty much wonderful. Especially the background for the dears collab. I absolutely loved it. It was amazing! Which I probably shouldnt be putting that on here, but still.
Oh snap, that counts as a background. But then again, you didnt create any of the actual people images so I guess that the background was said 'disaster area' right?
Anyways, your backgrounds are wonderful as are your 'disaster areas'.

Stunning.
Excellent job on this. Especially the way you did the background, particularly the left side, where the bar is. It looks real... Even though it's blurry.
You've always had a unique style for your characters designs, but stepping back and looking at a lot of your more recent stuff... It's just really incredible how you've managed to make stuff unlike anyone else. Like if anyone was familiar with your work and they saw a new one, they would know it's one of yours before even seeing your name. I just find that really incredible. And I guess it just bugs me that I've never really been able to pull that off. Sure, I'm a pretty good artist and I personally think I'm improving at an exponential rate, but I've never been able to claim a "style" or whatever the hell you wanna call it as my own.
Gonna cut myself off here since I've been babbling on for a bit. I'm the kind of person who's usually pretty quiet, then suddenly lets out all of the things I've wanted to say for a while.

Well, if you're up for a show essentially about nothing... 50 episodes of uber-relaxing, motivation killing nothing, then ARIA would suit. That and the art in the manga is really pretty...
