Description ...in Time Travel.

Well what typeface do you think got used?

Just a quick drawing based on something that happened when we were leaving the Imax after Transformers. Shirt pointed out by Matt with the comment of, "best shirt ever, 'There's no future in time travel'... written in futura, neatly left justified futura."

...because around here: we love typeface jokes.

Are the folks in the background looking back time travelers?  Would not be surprised!

Not so much the background, in the foreground on the other hand...

That's what gives me pause to wonder at what the people who had walked past were thinking about in relation to the message.

Thats pretty awesome that they thought it through to that extra level. Now that is a pretty pure execution of concept! Excellent image immortalizing the moment btw

We were pretty stoked seeing it... sadly didn't get a chance to ask the bloke where he got it though

Cheers mate.

Really like the whole layout so what do you think of the movie anyway?

Cheers mate.

Movie was enjoyable, but really nothing special to be honest. I did enjoy watching the giant robot fights, pity about the character development/plot (or lack thereof) though.

Somewhat agreed with you and cheers to you too.

Yikes... I swear I just experienced a major deal of deja vu a second there when I began writing and was to ask how Transformers was... which I'm not exactly sure if I asked before or not, yet it was in familiar asking, and I was about to say that I gave it up for the latest Harry Potter flick instead. Strange. 0_o

What better theme for it to happen, right? XD

Transformers was... average to be honest. Awesome giant robot action, but completely lacking in plot or character development... or even cheesy 80s music when the Matrix of Leadership came out

Seriously, you were better off with Harry Potter

Sounds good then.

Still, Transformers is something one can really only enjoy on the big screen. I remember watching the first one on the small screen and lost interest fast, whereas it's showing on the big kept my eyes glued to the screen.

The glowy device makes me think of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. It's probably a whole 'nother device, but you got me thinking about that. ^^

I want to see the word "Papyrus" written in 18-point Univers, with kerning, printed on an actual sheet of papyrus. 8>

You know what, I'm just going to say it: Jesse's boob looks odd there, poking out with a different color clothing than her coat. °^° There's a lack of cohesiveness to it.

...well I was thinking Sonic Screwdriver [link] which I guess is technically time travel related

Yeah, you're right about the boob. Unfortunately I found a sweet old army sweater in my draw that goes really well with that sort of jacket... this probably wasn't the right time to deploy it in her outfit though

Wh......at kind of deranged plot device have those Brits been tinkering with... (To be faaair, the tricorder does way more than three things like its name implies, but at least it shares the spotlight with other tech devices...!)

Ah, but the sonic screwdriver is a Dr Who fixture... same way that the TARDIS is bigger on the inside It substitutes for a weapon in the "get out of trouble" stakes since The Doctor's a pacafist... may have had something to do with seeing his entire race wiped out fighting the Daleks.

You just get used to the Dr Who weirdness after a time and just accept that's how the show gets things done

nice character faces and posture. Love the background and the clothing detail.

There's no future in time travel? There is the time paradox.

Cheers mate... yeah, guess you really need a paradox engine to cancel that out

very welcome. I like your drawings, very nice brush strokes and colours usage.
