Description
A pretty quick sketchy-type thing of a very stylized fox and her little baby fox! Admittedly I spent most of the time drawing the foxes and then found myself stuck for a background, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! I really like the way the paper texture affects the finished product, too.
Total time about two hours. 
As you can tell, this piece also channels the Japanese animal prints that I like so much.

I like this a lot: the simplicity, the apparent haphazardness, the texture. It has a bit of an Okami look to it (and let's face it, foxes are great ^.^)

I didn't even notice it was Okami-ish until everyone started pointing it out, but you're right -- I spent hours and hours and hours with that game, so it's no wonder that I absorbed SOMETHING.
And yes -- foxes are AWESOME.

I suggest a red Papillon for a fennec-fox-esque creature that would be happy in a domestic setting

I'm such a city slicker, can't remember the last time I went somewhere far to get fresh air,hug trees, run from bears and do that usual tipical stuff, that russian do)))

This artwork fills me with emotions.
It brings me to far lands of russia with pine(christmas tree) woods in winter time, with foxes living all around the place.
It's a very warm and light orange, makes you keep your eyes on it. In my humble opinion the style the foxes are drawn in a mix of comic styles with vector work and kids book illustration.
Although I think that background is a little different style, the foxes are drawn with edgy and sharp line, where is the trees are a bit softer.
Overall it's a fantastic peace, filled with emotions and positive mood.

Oh, this is soooo cute and neat! You can definately feel the Japanese influences. This is really lovely. It would look stunning a frame on someone's wall.
