Page spread from my own children's book I made "The Fox Child" about a girl who meets a mysterious fox fairy... and discovers many surprises along the way.I have had this fox character created since highschool, and I'm so happy to see him in a finished product...it's very personal to me. This book consists of 32 pages, and I had 10 weeks to make it. I removed the text for privacy reasons. It was a lot of work, but I really really enjoied the whole process. Even if I was the editor, publisher, art director, illustrator and writer.
I am getting it printed through www.blurb.com, and hopefully the copies come out alright. ^^
Story, images and characters all belong to me.

Thanks again! As for a 'distinct look' I think if you focus with drawing frequently, and drawing what you truely like - good stuff happens! I started finding more on my own personality and let that shine through. I don't think you can seriously search for it, sometimes a style hits you hard or it creeps up on you slowly. Of course experimenting with mediums can help as well... do what you feel most comfortable with!

It went really well. The color comes out very nice, and they have directions on how to upload your finished product via pdf on the site.
