Yeah, you really, really should've, Tsuzuki.So my lovely roomie made me watch Yami no Matsuei/Descendants of Darkness. It was... interesting. No, seriously, if you like occult mysteries and psychotic serial-rapist gay nymphomaniac doctors, check it out. The dub has DAN GREEN.
What I don't get is why the series is called a "gateway drug" for shounen-ai. The only real guy love in the series was Tsuzuki/Muraki, and that was totally one-sides and just Muraki being a creepy motherfucker (hence, comic). As for Tsuzuki/Hisoka, the only vibes I got from them was a protector/big brother complex. And it was adorable.
Add pretty anime boys and their stupid anime hair to the list of Things I Can't Draw.
Yami no Matsuei belongs to Yoko Matsushita.

lol. I love this comic. Yami no matsuei is the best. Yeah the anime only shows Muraki/Tsuzuki and a brotherly love with Tsuzuki/Hisoka. But the manga is way better then the anime and is the reason for all the Tsuzuki/Hisoka romantic love! Seriously read the manga, they made the anime way too short.

And Tsuzuki/Hisoka is cute, whenever you see it as romantic love or just friendship. But I don't understand why you're saying in that one comment that it's silly to like this pairing. You don't need to see them as more than friends if you don't want to, but many other fans (including me) like to think there's something more between them. And what's wrong with that? Some things can be open to different interpretations, you know.

I'm glad you liked it! Manga is alot more gory and longer. The whole thing was'nt finished though because the artist did not want to work on it anymore.

Sorry, but why are you saying that it's silly to like Tsuzuki/Hisoka? You may see their relationship as friendship or brotherly love and that's okay to me. But I don't think it's stupid to think of them as a romantic couple. Because I like to think their relationship is open to interpretation.
And I'm not saying that two guys can't have a non-sexual relationship. In fact, MOST relationships between two men are non-sexual. I'm not some rabid yaoi fangirl who randomly pairs anime guys with each other just because "they're so hott!!11" No, I only support pairings which I see actually working. And Tsuzuki/Hisoka is one of them. I don't like them together because they're both guys but because their relationship is so deep and beautiful.
Well, anyway. Sorry for ranting, but I just happen to be a huge TsuSoka fan and tend to get defensive about them. But I'm not saying you shouldn't see it as friendship, but you shouldn't call these people "silly" who like to think their feelings for each other are deeper.

Aw, don't take it too personal. This was drawn over a year ago, but I think what I was referring to was the anime fandom's tendency to assume that any two guys in a meaningful relationship are clearly bumping headboards. Nothing against the pairing in and of itself.
