Description The oldest traditional method for writing runes is to carve them in stone. These necklaces uphold that tradition, displaying runes from the Elder Futhark. Each necklace is hand carved into soapstone, a soft, heat-absorbent stone historically used for crafting and construction of pots and jewelry casting molds and ovens in medieval Europe.

The rune pendants come in pink or green soapstone; I'm trying to avoid inbox flooding by not posting pictures of each individual one. Stone pendant is about 1" long and hangs form an adjustable leather cord. We have every rune of the Elder Futhark available and can do custom carvings such as bindrunes or runes from other systems.

no problem, what did you use to carve the stone?

Just a hand chisel. My friend attacked one with a diamond-tipped stylus, talk about overkill XD

Nice! Interesting choice of rune though, why did you pick the thurisaz rune since it only stands for chaos and misfortune?

Thanks!
My friends and I took a vote and thurisaz was chosen as prettiest carving/ stone, so it was a matter of workmanship. Should we change it?

Very nice. The offset hole helps give it an archaic feel.
