EDIT: And for all the haters who keep sending me notes about this stamp, read this! truthaboutdahvie.tumblr.com/po...I don't really hate any bands, more so strongly dislike an barely tolerate some (*cough1DandBeiber*), but these guys REALLY take the cake. Now before I get hated and flamed, take a look at my reasoning.
1. They sing about sex and most of their music is aimed at teens and pre-teens. They also cannot sing or make music.
2. They will tell under-age kiddies to flash them at shows and will show their privates during the same shows
3. They look and act like confused teenaged scene kids when they're really over the age of 25.
4. The rape charges.
I am open to hearing different opinions about them but mine shall not change. BOTDF are overrated talentless idiot IMHO. Flamers will be ignored.

I haven't listened to them in a LONG time, but it astounds me of the amount of complete ignorance and hate towards this band, and how people are really this stupid to believe negative things on the internet about them.
First of all - Almost EVERY band talks about sex at least once or twice - Some even more than botdf does.
And no, their music is not aimed at little kids - Just because they found it and listen to it does not mean it is FOR them.
Cannot sing or make music? Are you deaf or something? Just because they use electronic equipment instead of your 50's wooden instruments does not make it any less musical. A mixer table is hard to make music with because of the hundreds - Even thousands of types of sound, rhythm, etc. and one little nano key off could ruin the whole thing - anyone who has tried knows it's harder than flicking strings on a guitar.
Second - Have you been to a rapper concert? Like Lil'Wayne or Necro? They tell people in the crowd to do horribly explicit things - And they do it. girls, topless, twerking bare-assed towards the stage, touching a random guys private parts, even having sex on the floor!! And there are about a quarter of kids there under 16.
Third - Confused? What's that suppose to mean? And so what if they don't act mature. There is no law in life that you have to 'grow up' "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional". I'm almost 19 and I refuse to become a depressing/stressed, boring, and "normal" adult.
And fourth...The big ol' fake story...
A fan who had OCD [obsessive compulsive disorder] and other emotional issues - didn't get an autograph by them after waiting for hours in line. She was so upset, that she decided to make a fake video / blog to 'get back' at them. It still astounds me how anyone would believe this. Have you SEEN how much of a bitchy fake 11 year old she is? She's obviously deranged! Look for yourself - And this was a video before the incident:

Unrelated note: I dunno why fans keep saying "DAHVIE ISN'T A PEDOPHILE/RAPIST". If a band I liked had that many accusations of rape directed at them, I'd start to think that gee, maybe something isn't quite right here. Oh, and there's the arrest warrant. They are a great band with a lot of inspirational lyrics. They have helped me through a rough patch in my life and I forever love them for that. The vocals are fucking annoying and ear piercing to listen to, the lyrics are bland, horrible, and almost every song is the fucking same thing. They're songs mostly consist of sex and sexual themes, and when they actually TRY it falls flat on it's face because of how bland the song is. Oh it's okay! I don't hate you, I actually don't hate anyone (At least, on this site so far.) to be quite honest so you're good. It's good you learned from your mistakes.Β
For me, it's not the fact that their songs were about sex, it's just that Dahvie would treat his fans like shit, do stupid things and wouldn't take up for his actions. Despite being in his thirties. Not to mention all of his fans that he's molested and/or raped, who went online/over text to confront him he would ESPECIALLY treat them like shit and say they "don't understand" or they're "traitors" when they're not. Β Β
Take for example Black Veil Brides, I don't like them particularly, but I can hold some respect for them and their fans. I also used to like BVB when I was younger, so I can understand why people like BVB as much as they do. BOTDF...Honestly I can't do that, I can't hold respect for them or even some of their fans. (Mostly because they blindly defend Dahvie.) And it honestly breaks my heart when some people find out he's a fake, they sometimes burst into tears because they learnt that their idol is a fake.Β
But it's okay, I understand that people your age make mistakes. So don't worry, at least you weren't as bad as I was at your age, haha.Β
