Ridge is starting his ridden career, though technically this occurs after the tradi entry of these two in a jumping show that i have yet to finish.... but deadlines they are approaching.
SO just pretend that entry is done and these two have the jumping experience together to make this realistic
Went with a bit more of a stylized entry this time, it was fun until i got up to all that dang maypole/flower madness and then i decided that i was clearly insane XD

Oh man im so glad you think so. i agonise over how to try get them looking right but still being unique and Obers are such a fun breed so im really glad i do ok with it and dont butcher the anatomy ;n;

How do you motivate yourself to draw such detailed works and what inspires and gives you the ideas for your drawings

well there is a lot of complaining to friends when i get up to the detailed stuff like the maypoles leaves and flowers XD but really i actually love making the images that have a little more composition planning in them instead of flat literal scenes. It makes it more fun for storytelling.
