Description Entry for 's 'Duality of Sonic and Super Sonic' contest.

I figured if there was anything that brought these two polar opposites together, it was kicking the stuffing out of Brutus.

Just today I found out what an 'Adjustment layer' was. It made this picture look a thousand times better than what I'd half-done. Now I've just got to figure out what to use a 'Layer Mask' for... so far the only thing I can think of is smoke.

course it will, you just have to set the layer above the pencil drawing to 'multiply'

Thanks so much I'm not a fan of the new Sonic on the current gen consoles but the old British comics were great, more about Nazi-esque dictatorship than fluffy animals! I'm colouring some lineart for a #color-me-club contest so I'm gonna use your colouring technique for that.

This looks so cool. The armor looks great, especially the muscles. The colors really add a lot of drama to this piece, so you've used them very well. Good job!

Thanks so much!!! The adjustment layer helped me do a LOT more contrast so I got confidence to spend more time on the armour. I forgot to add that I'm not very good at abs, but I'm going to study some from =vishstudio . < Have you seen this yet by the way? Hundreds of professional images of bodybuilders, and the guy said in a journal we can use it as STOCK. Considering there's no man stock on DA I think that's pretty good.

I have no idea what an adjustment layer is, so...

And...this guy is amazing! Over 1,200 amazing photos that can be used as reference? I really need to improve on male anatomy, so this is a great link. Automatic bookmark. Thank you.

You know I still don't know exactly how to explain it. Then again if you asked me I couldn't tell you exactly what a layer does!

I'm so glad you found it useful! I'm grateful as all hell for it, I had no male bodybuilder/anatomy reference before I found this guy.
