Vessel of the Light/Guardian Ribbon Necklace || Received from Father Nicholas, the small, clear stone used to belong to a great pilgrim. About the size of your paw, it will light even the thickest darkness, emit warmth when it is painfully cold, or sing a soft lullaby in a strange language when you are feeling hopeless or lonely. If you are in great danger and pray to the stone, the light will extend from its depths and point in the direction of "safety," though you will not know exactly what that safety is until you reach it. Perhaps an escape route, perhaps friendly cats that will aid you, or a place to hide. The Vessel of the Light does not run out of charges, but it only activates when it is truly needed, remaining silent when you try to use it for mundane tasks. The stone is bound with bindweed to what appears to be an ordinary looking red ribbon. Upon closer look there is a small, silver illustration of a cat, leaping as if into battle. If worn, the user suddenly feels that there is another soul there with them. This ribbon contains an artificial battle spirit made out of light. The wearer of the ribbon can, at any time, decide to release the spirit to fight beside them in battle. Though this spirit does not seem able to use powers, it is the epitome of a great warrior -- strong, agile, fast, precise, and intelligent. Treat it as a creature with 80 auma. Though it cannot speak, it can strategize on its own and will follow orders given by the wearer of the ribbon. It will protect the ribbon-bearer and allies at all costs, and survives for a period of one hour. After this time, it will turn towards the wearer of the ribbon, dip its head, and vanish. The ribbon turns into an ordinary red ribbon at that point, and the spirit is gone for good.

Appearance.
Firpaw is a blue she-cat with a pale ginger belly and white accents around her eyes, paws and muzzle. She has pale green eyes that glow brightly in the dark. She has dark markings on her face, ear tips and tail which has a few stripes.
Personality.
[Moral] - [Seclusive] - [Brave] - [Kind] - [Passionate]
Moral - Firpaw was once lost and scared and she wondered what the point of life was. Then, she discovered the Pilgrims. Now she lives her life strictly by their moral code. She never attacks an enemy with their back turned, ashen or no. She protects any cat weaker than her and she seeks out Ashen to destroy whenever she can. She really detests cursing and any actions that add darkness to the world. In order to keep those actions to a minimum, she tries to handle all situations with calmness and diplomacy.
Seclusive - Firpaw tends to spend most of her time on her own. She hasn't connected with any of the other Pilgrims and that makes her feel quite lonely. Even with the few friends she has, she is very secluded around them and prefers to take some time to herself. Perhaps if she made a relationship with a cat of her faith, she would come out of her shell a bit more but she doesn't really understand StarClan or any of the other beliefs the cats around her have. She spends most of her time fighting Ashen just out side the walls.
Brave - She believes wholeheartedly in the Pilgrim faith and therefore seeks to rid the world of all evil. She doesn't fear death either because she believes she'll become part of the earth. She strives to protect the other cats in the world and will go through any danger to save them. That's why she chose the profession of Vanguard so that she could be in the action and kill as many Ashen as possible. There's nothing to fear but fear itself, she always says.
Kind - Firpaw knows what it's like to be alone, afraid and lost. She may not enjoy socializing, but she is usually there to comfort those in need. She has a bit of wisdom, although she often just sits there in silence or tries to give them hope with Pilgrim beliefs. She may mean well, but she doesn't always have the best tact. Still, she helps watch kits, runs errands for seekers and crafters and helps the other apprentices practice. If it brings light into the world, she will do it.
Passionate - She is extremely devoted to any and all causes she follows. Her heart is fully invested in everything she does. This can cause some problems, at least for her, when she becomes angry or looses someone she loves. Her heart wants revenge, but her Pilgrim ideals frown upon that because it would mean becoming the darkness - at least as she sees it. This creates a lot of inner turmoil with self control and is the base for her biggest fear, becoming the darkness she swears to fight.

Biography
Origin - Loner
Firpaw's parents were loners who survived and met during the Calamity. They fell in love and had her and her two siblings. Her original name was Bella. She and her family lived somewhere near the valley of thorns on the edge closest to Catacomb Isle.
History:
One day when she was about five moons old, their family was attacked by a horrible Ashen. That in itself wasn't anything unusual of course, but this was the first time they had encountered a Hellion. It killed one of her brothers instantly with it's whip like tail. Her parents fought valiantly but the her father was paralyzed by the Hellion's clairvoyance powers and it strangled her mother. Her other brother ordered her to run. Terrified, she did so, abandoning them to their death. Lost and afraid, she stumbled upon a cat named Esther. The pale furred she-cat took her in and taught her how to defend herself and how to best avoid the Ashen. She also introduced her to the Pilgrim faith. Being lost and guilty, Bella latched onto it. Esther gave her a new name - Eden - teaching her the Pilgrim's Pledge, instructing her not to recite it until the day she was ready to take the responsibility on herself. A month or so later, Esther and Eden were attacked by an Ashen Warrior. They managed to kill it, but Esther had been wounded badly. Eden tried the best she could to fix the cat up, but she didn't know what to do and there were no herbs that grew in the ashy soil. She could maybe find some at Everbloom but that was a day or so away and if she were to go fetch them, she would leave Esther undefended. The two decided to make their way to Everbloom together. A day or two after they set off, a beam of light pierced the darkness a ways off, and a call came from far off. Both cats were drawn to the light, but Everbloom was closer and they needed to heal Esther. It was slow going, but after about a week or so of traveling whenever they could and stopping frequently to fight Ashen and to rest, they reached Everbloom. Unfortunately, by that time, Esther's wounds were infected. They used all the herbs they could, even eating some everfruit, but Esther knew she wouldn't last long. Eden promised to stay until Esther died and the two had a moon or two to come to terms before the day finally came. Eden buried her mentor below the roots of the tree, spending a whole night sitting vigil over her. The next morning, after eating a bit of everfruit and a small mouse, Eden set off to find the light they had seen. She couldn't remember where it was so she made her way up the dark spire. Again, going was slow. Eden had to hide often to avoid the Ashen. She reached half way up the mountain feeling week and tired. But there, in the distance, was a glowing light shining upon a asylum of green. She went down to the valley of thorns and spent about a moon there, hunting and regaining her strength. Finally, she was ready. She hurried back up the mountain, located the light and made the trip down to Safe Haven. She found that the cats were very accepting but was sad that only a few of them were Pilgrims. She let them name her whatever they wanted, keeping the name Eden to hold to herself. She waits for the day when she can recite the pledge and become a true Pilgrim.

[] Esther - Esther was my mentor, my guide. I know she is with me, part of this earth. It is for her sake I must cleanse it of its impurities.
[] Littlestep - A crafter I met. He's kind and I quite like him. I hope to see him again and I probably will, seeing as he basically promised me a trinket of some kind.
[] Wolftail - My new mentor. He is kind and joking. I may not be able to joke with him, but I appreciate the light he tries to give the world.
[] Father Nicholas - It was amazing to meet another pilgrim at last. I look up to Nicholas in all I do now. I hope some day he comes to stay, or at least that he visits me again.

Roleplaying
Preferences: I don't really care, as long as there isn't swearing or gore *blood is okay, but nothing specific*. I'm fine with just jumping into a random rp, but if the rp is significant to my character or the plot, I would prefer a basic outline to be discussed.
Contact.
[ X ] Notes [This is really my method of choice. I might take a little while to get back to you, but I will get back to you.]
[ X ] Comments [Sure, why not. This is especially good for multiplayer rps. I prefer replies though so that I can find the rp when I need it.]
[ X ] Skype [I've never done this before, but it doesn't sound good to me. If you need to, it's fine, but I would prefer to keep my skype private.]
[ ] Chats [I guess if I needed to, but I would rather not. It's just too fast paced and hard to post because it's deleted as soon as the page is refreshed.]
Example from TWG
Chillstep sat up and yawned. Her little nap had been good, but now she felt as if the day had been wasted. She had to admit, there wasn't much to do besides hunt and train. The war had consumed everything any cat did, except most of the younger cats. Chillstep sighed, wondering whether she should go hunting. Then a shadow caught her eye.
Ebonymoon. She hadn't spoken to him since the night they had made up, mostly because he had been extremely busy. However, it was also in part to the fact that their relationship still felt strained to her. She took a deep breath and stood, padding over to him. Nothing was going to change if she never talked to him.
"Hey, um, Ebony?" she asked, "You, uh, you wanna do something?" She smiled nonchalantly although she felt like there were ants crawling through her pelt.
[this is me trying. When I don't try, my posts can get kinda small but I still try to put in details, actions and inner thoughts while leaving room for you to reply.]
