Could James Cameron direct one of the new Star Wars movies?Perhaps if he'd been involved back in the '80s we might have seen something like this character - an Imperial Terminator - make an appearance?
Or maybe not... but I just wanted to draw a Star Wars / Terminator crossover... and here's the result!
I don't think a Terminator could be a 'Sith Lord' even if it does have a "learning computer" for a brain - but I think it would have "detailed files" on how to use a lightsaber (did you notice the T2 references there? lol). And it's giving off some kind of electrical discharge - not force lightning.
At first I just drew the Terminator character - but ended up adding the Emperor, the Royal Guards and Strormtroopers to add some interest to the background.
I can't imagine a character in Star Wars wearing sunglasses - but I thought I had to keep them as they're such a familiar part of the Terminator character. I tried to make subtle changes to make them look a little bit more 'space age' though.

Doing a crossover between Terminator and Star Wars would actually be very difficult, because the two franchises are so different. Terminator is an Earth-centric time-traveling sci-fi series with horror elements, while Star Wars is a planet-hopping swords-and-sorcery series with sci-fi elements. Star Wars has a bevy of alien races, and droids are often treated as just another kind of species, while Terminator has humans and humans alone, while droids are considered truly different from humans (Skynet, the central antagonist, is both evil empire and evil emperor in one). The sunglasses are a visible token of this difference: no one in Star Wars wears sunglasses, but the Terminator always wears them. This is not to say that you couldn't do a crossover between the two franchises, but it would be a huge departure from both series' norms.
All that said, I'm intrigued by the concept of a fleshy cyborg using the Force, and how that fits into the Star Wars mythos. We know that Darth Vader can use the force, even though he is more machine than man; could a machine wrapped in flesh also wield the Force's power? Or what if it was just pure machine; does a sentient robot count as a "living thing" in the eyes of the universe? I like to think so, because I think of the Force as responding to thought and will, and if a robot can have those, then it can learn to feel the Force's flow. Given that assumption, it seems natural that Emperor Palpatine would seek to create a being that unites a droid's durability and obedience with a Sith's power and cunning.
But wait! If a being has enough will and thought to use the Force, then surely it has enough will and thought to choose for itself how it uses the Force. And what if such a being should decide that it prefers the Light side to the Dark? Imagine the possibilities...

Linda Hamilton has the rights to the Terminator Franchise Last I checked, as Jim lost it in their Divorce. however this is an awesome Idea, now if one could do up a comvincing story to it...

oh yes good choice with the background, it works great. And you are correct, he would not be able to use the force, but he would exile at welding a light saber. he even go up to Boba Fet and say "You are Terminated!" and walk away. after a few moments Boba's head falls off. yeah, he be that bad ass.
