Darth Doom... sounds good to me - at least it's better than Dr Vader!
I try to always come up with original ideas - and I thought I'd done it again with 'Darth Doom'... until I Googled the name and found out I'm certainly not the first person to think it would be a good idea to mix these two legendary bad guys. Nevertheless, I really liked the concept and had ideas for how I wanted this character to look - so I went ahead and created my own version mixing elements of both characters' costumes.
This is a low-res version of the original which was drawn in Photoshop using a Wacom pad.Β
Star Wars and Darth Vader were created by George Lucas; Dr Doom was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Star Wars and Marvel, and the respective characters are copyright of Disney. This is fan art and isn't available for sale or reproduction.

It's amazing how well Doom's mask fits on a Darth Vader style outfit, but I suppose it fits since Doom was the inspiration for Vader.

thanks - I've always been proud of this one.Β It would look great as a costume so it would be cool if you, or anyone else, does go ahead and make it.Β I think there's enough in this image to make out how the costume would work but if you were looking for a 'character turnaround' guide - maybe hit me with a commission in a note and we can discuss?

FOX really should give back Fantastic Four and X-men movie rights back to Marvel. WTF fox. No offence to anyone but they just fucking this characters up. Ok the only good thing is X-men. I mean we need this guy in MCU.

Awesome combination here. Too bad that Marvel and 20th Century Fox got Dr. Doom wrong twice. It's time that Marvel teamed up with Disney to make a better Fantastic 4 movie then the one from 2005, Fantastic 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer and the Fantastic 4 movie from last year.

I can't believe no one has ever (to my awareness) had the cajones to actual render this the most obvious and RAD villainous mash up ever. You know....Star Wars and Marvel both call the same mouse daddy....do we dare hope? Even just an alternate comic book? If they do, they better give you props. When George was still in charge he was pretty good about that stuff (admitting openly Dooms visual influence on Vader,acknowledging the Dark Horse artist who invented the double light saber design, editing Jar Jar nearly out of existence instantly the moment he realized the prequel hate could be slightly diminished by doing so,etc) but Disney...how do I say this without sounding like a commie,extremists,USA bashing terrorist...Disney has a well known history of exploitation and outright concept theft. Traditions established by Walt himself. This isn't arguable or contested, it's historical fact. But we Deviants will know what's up

Wow, now that's most impressive and very brilliant! Β Doom and Vader are my all-time favorite villians, and this brings the power of both into one. Β The Fantastic Four and the Rebellion don't stand a chance.
Your vision certainly mixed the best and most recognized elements of these two bad guys in outstanding fashion. Β And, the idea of Doom's mystical,Β sorcerous powers and fully armed suit of armor combined with Vader's light saber and control of the Force is awe inspiring!

Thanks! - although I'm not the first to associate the two characters - indeed it's said that George Lucas even showed Ralph McQuarrie Fantastic 4 comics with Dr Doom in (among others) to help show what kind of look he wanted for Darth Vader!
