So the wormhole to Earth started depositing aircraft since at least 1945-ish, judging by the PBY Catalina. Given the more modern designs, it's been doing this ever since.

At the moment, no. In the future I may process these into wallpaper sizes. I never really considered my stuff to be good enough to be used as wallpaper, but I'll definitely consider creating art with those aspect ratios in mind for newer projects.

Somewhat. It's more of a case of speed obsession plus being part of a volunteer team which specializes in utilizing heavy concentrations of precipitation to fight large fires (like the water transport in Hurricane Fluttershy but on a smaller scale).

I wish... just recreationally. Both of my parents were professional pilots though.

It's amazing. In our story we have fallen airplanes - yes, just like these.
We even feature this cargo bay as an important plot device.
And we plan to introduce a red-maned mechanic mare.
Coincidences are overwhelming.
The only problem is environment: our one is of mountains and snow.

Trust me, Pyre, I live in Arizona and you've got the environment accurate. The grass pooping up here and there, the way the clouds bank over the mountain, the lighting itself are all reminiscent of an Arizona monsoon. You done good.
Also, sorry for not commenting sooner. My internet keeps inexplicably dying on me.

Yes, I see what you mean about the colour contrast. It looks nice. And it's a good idea that I haven't seen executed all that much. Nice sand and what seems to be streams' paths through it, and beautiful grass on it. I really love the work you did with metallic surfaces here, too. Varied intensity of the shine depending on whether it is "dull" or not. And lovely work with this ramp in the foreground, it feels like a photo. Good work with the reflection of the grass on the undersides of the planes, too. As for the pony, I love her hair! Cool style and nice colours, and wouldn't look out of place in the show itself either. Great work with the bodyshape and the fetlocks and the wings and the expression.
Marvellously done, maker!
