Nice work.
Do you know where I can find a grenade-sec concept like this?
I would like to add my tweaks.

an now introducing the military's new,, Pasty Nade.. it has three functions in one.. First: simple, pull pin an throw, high explosive, with a micro second EMP..
Second : flip spoon out, adjust the nano display, flip spoon down, an you now have a high intensity FAE ,, with a full EMP pulse just at detonation..
Third: the pasty part. becomes a simple breaching charge.. flip spoon out ,, push an hold detent under spoon,, twist apart the 2 half's, (just below the "High Explosive" markings,) reel out the 1 meter of micro det cord, affix charge (base , with out pin/display) with the bonding epoxy under the cord, arrange the cord, affix the detonator ( same type sticky patch under the cord.), set timer, pull pin, seek safe distance... BOOM...
also you can chain them together , for a larger hole or thicker material..

I'm a fu##ing soldier in the field with all the enemies - do you think I have time to read the small display?
BESIDE THIS joke: awesome work!

lol you are right i know. Originally there was normal button and only at the end I replaced it for small display so I can use it as effect in final renders....

Love all the little details. Unfortunately those same details make this a very "unrealistic" design. Grenades are literally the ultimate in one use throwaway items. Mechanical fasteners, and you have included quite a few of them, have no place. The digital display, which at best is probably 25x25mm, includes way to many bars, slides and unreadable text. All a soldier really needs is status (inert, armed, etc) and fuse countdown. There also does not appear to be any mechanism for adjustments making a display of any sorts even more questionable. The spoon appears attached which is contrary to almost every grenade ever made and if the case a simple low profile pressure switch would seem to have a better option (sealed, no protrusions, etc)

yea display is too small. I just used to have a effect on rendrings. I did more concept of grenades and spoons I did in several composition from open and exposed to covered like this one.

You say that, and yet, missiles are "one-use" items and often have homing systems and GPS devices more accurate than the one in your phone. Also, this is the future. The screen on top could be powered by something as small as a watch battery and have very little. Explosives also have a shelf life and depending on their consistency, may need to be stored at a certain temperature for long periods.
There are also several different functions this grenade may have- it may not explode in the traditional sense. Maybe it's a magnetic grenade, designed to cling to the metal side of a tank, or to a person's body armor. Maybe it's an EMP grenade and actually IS re-usable. (Although it does say "high explosive" on it). Could also be a fusion grenade of sorts, and requires immense power in a small object to function anyway, and you would NEED a charge indicator on it of some sort.
Food for thought. I would also appreciate an explanation, but he already says he doesn't have much time.

Missiles are self powered and self guided, neither of which are feature of hand grenades in general or any evidence of this grenade in particular. Powering the screen is not the issue, but the amount of information a soldier needs and can easily access in the field is. As you point out the grenade says High Explosive so all your concerns as to type need not apply.
