Peachfuzz β€” Arcanine of Gevaudan

Description I first learned about the legend of the beasts of GΓ©vaudan from a legend/myth book as a young teenager. As you can see from the Wikipedia article, they were described as "wolf-like" creatures with "immense tails" and "reddish fur." A detail absent from the Wikipedia article, but one I remember well from the book I had, is that some accounts of the creatures describe them as having stripes.

I don't know about you guys, but that sounds rather like Arcanine to me! I added a bunch of gray to the Arcanine trying to make it more wolf-like, but I don't know if that came across well.

I know this is crappy, but I wanted to make something for the current contest and this legend is one that I always liked. This was made free-hand with Faber-Castell Pitt Artist brush-tip pens in about an hour and a half.

The drawing is lovely interesting as well, the red used as shade made it more fire forced
