Description For the PoM over at .

I really wasn't in the mood for Typhlosion's usual color, so I decided to go with the shiny version. Then it followed that I should attempt to make it look... Shiny. So, in addition to my usual Prismacolor pens/markers, this also has a bit of Pelikan Opaque Chinese White on it for the sparklies.

Wow I love how smooth your colouring is, and it's so precise! I especially love the autumn leaves, they just really stand out to me.
I could really see this on one of the trading cards, haha ^-^

Thank you so, so much for the awesome comment and fav! :'D I really appreciate you taking the time to give me a more in-depth comment than people typically do.

The autumn leaves are a real plant here. A despised one, but the only native plant that gives us any fall show.

Hey no problem! I'd like to give more meaningful comments, but then my mind goes blank and all I can think of is really brief stuff along the lines of 'this is great'.
Thank you for sharing the awesome artwork! Shame those plants aren't popular, the leaves have a really nice shape to 'em

They aren't popular because they're dangerous. But ugliness is certainly not among this plant's crimes. <3 Thanks again!

Ah, well if they're dangerous that's more understandable
You're welcome (again )

This really reminds me of the old Pokemon card art-styles used for the Emerald sets. The shading, lighting, posing, and lines all lend to a real feeling of wilderness, especially the trees in the corners (I like the nice touch you made with those)...

One thing I noticed is that the baclk leg that is extended could be darkened a little to create a sense of perspective, as it seems to be more like a tail looked at from my point of view...

I also love the shiny marks and coloring of the flames. Great job on this anyway!

Thank you for the fav and the input, both praising and constructive. I appreciate the time you took to let me know what you think.

The plants in the corners are real plants that are very common here.

No problem, this is a great peiece of marker art

Thank you, it feels rteally nice when an artist takes the time to reply to critics in such a calm and polite manner. Than kyou for your time.

Just a note: when I read the part 'here' at the end, for some reason I immediately imagined Canada. Coincidence?

I don't know if this plant exists in Canada. I've never been there. It's a plant unique to the North American continent, though, so it's entirely possible.

Oh wow this colors are beautifuuuul. That background and everything flows so nicely with the shiny colors and haha the sparkles make me smile. I wonder if shinies in the show sparkle it's been so long. That fire looks really great too! Typhlosion is one of my favorite pokemon <3~.

I love how you express the fire, the less outlines on the upper part make the fire is different from solid objects, and emphasize the lambent effect. and the shining effect with the sparkles is interesting effect, I think this white effect go well and you succeed to show the shiny effect
