I like the background you use for this series. It seems like an old parchment, paper for a legend. Having trained all three (all right, I didn't quite get to Infernape...) and looking over the rest of the region starters, I'd have to say I think these guys have the most interesting concepts. We have a literal monkey god, the Turtle With the World On His Back, and a badass half-Steel emperor penguin. Empoleon has a special place in my heart because that was my starter in my first completed Nuzlocke. In fact, thanks to "Hopper" Empoleon overthrew Feraligatr, who was my favorite starter for years. But Feraligatr doesn't get one-shotted by a Garchomp's Earthquake, so he has that going for him.
