Guess which starter I chose in Pokémon White game!A doodle from christmas 2010 before the games actually were released in Europe. I had seen a picture on Bulbapedia of a samurott wealding that arm shell sword and knew I had to draw one myself. Took me a while to figure out how that mustache-whiskers thingies work, but it was fun anyway.
His name is Roa.

Aw, but I don't draw them any better than the official artists, I only have a different style of drawing, that's all. The actual artists are highly talented artists, who do really great job in making good and balanced designs. It's Nintendo, they can afford to hire the best.
Come on, you got to give the artists a little credit, they have to make the pokémon designs to fit stylistically into the same world with Ash Ketchum!

I agree that the artists put a lot of effort into what they do. I like the more realistic types of drawings though. Both are very good works I just happen to like yours better.

The first pokemon I ever had was my Turtwig. Now he's my kick-grass Torterra. So I always sort of ignored the water types, thinking "Pfft. GO TWIGY!" (at the time I didn't know that "twiggy" should have to g's... to late to change it though XD)
I have, however, come to respect Smaurott and it's evolutionary line. Mostly because my brother thrashed my level 65 Darkrai with his 57 Samurott. They're tough pokemon to beat.

I never liked the final evolution for the water starter... then other people started drawing him and I slowly fell in love!

Yeah, I've had another account as my super secret hideout for all my pokémon stuff, but it ended up being a bit too much of a hassle to run them both, so I'm now concentrating all my stuff in here. That's why there's been so much pokémon drawings all at once, I moved my stuff from the other account into this one.

You're one of the few artists who can make this pokémon look actually cute and loveable. Oshawott looks like a small otter/seal, but the "orginal" looks like... I don't know what it looks like. But you really make that little creature look cute.

When I first saw the game's presentation I couldn't wait and then spoiled everything by watching the pokedex. I choosed Oshawott only for Samurott, being my favourite water type of all time <3 But then I realised that, even as a "baby" he wasn't that bad.
I loved tepig too, but I think he gets whorse and whorse. He looked more original as a "baby" I think. and Snivy dosen't really interest me for now.
