Meeting Mr. Wolf
The grandmother lived out in the wood, half a league from the village, and just as Little Red Riding Hood entered the wood, a wolf met her. Little Red Riding Hood did not know what a wicked creature he was, and was not at all afraid of him.

"Good-day, Little Red Riding Hood," said he.

"Thank you kindly, wolf."

"Whither away so early, Little Red Riding Hood?"

"To my grandmother's."

"What have you got in your apron?"

"Cake and wine. Yesterday was baking-day, so poor sick grandmother is to have something good, to make her stronger."

"Where does your grandmother live, Little Red Riding Hood?"

"A good quarter of a league farther on in the wood. Her house stands under the three large oak-trees, the nut-trees are just below. You surely must know it," replied Little Red Riding Hood.

This is scene 2 of 7 from my Little Red Riding Hood project. I had these scenes finished for about a month now, so I thought that the time had come to upload the rest. Pity that I'm not much of an uploader though
This is one of my favourite scenes, I love the way the wolf came out! This is the first time I actually tried fur and a forest. I saved this one as a .png, because the colors of the first one had turned so bleak on DA. I hope this works better

Hope you enjoy!

your wolf looks amazing definitely scary and villainous, which people rarely get with the wolf in this story I also really like your border. since you asked for crit, I must say that you DO need to work on coloring and composition (heh, I have that problem myself)... you need to figure out how to have colors create more of a sense of depth, and how composition can look so it emphasizes the characters, looking detailed without being overcrowded

Wow I think you did really good on the forest and fur if that was your first time lol I can't do that realistic look at all. LRRH is really really cute in this picture too ^^ Is this something being published? It's good enough to be

Thank you soo much! The idea was for it to be published, but something was fishy about the editor, I didn't receive my payment after the first drawing like was stated in the contract and he didn't appear online for the longest time. And my grandpa also told me that he always had trouble dealing with Romanian people (no offense meant to them). I didn't believe it at first, but it seems to be true. However I still learned alot from this project. Thank you for asking!!

Beautiful detail it really gives that story-book feel and like everyone is saying nice evil wolf and first time fur?! WTF! wow Nice use of textures too.
Just maybe add a little more shading here and there to really give things a more 3d look such as the sunflowers? Just on one side to make them blend in a little but still keep the yellow of them as they seem quite bright to me atm, especially as the path is getting darker as it advances into the forest.Good sense of evil in that though - making the path darker as it gets more dangerous >:3 Also on the rock where Mr Wolf's paw is just to make it really seem he's resting on it and casting a shadow.
Rara I wanna see the rest of these Mellas you have a great way of making them seem fairytale and storybook and use textures so nicely Mr Wolf utterly pwns <3

(I want glowing flowers too hehe they're cute)

Thanks alot again, hun!!

One thing that I really love about your Little Red Riding Hood series is the framework. It's just so epically beautiful, and I find it builds up a lot of atmosphere, too. And then you've detailed everything wonderfully, although I am especially fond of all those flowers. ^-^
Also, if Mr. Wolf is your first try at drawing fur then I'm simply lost for words. He looks so brilliantly realistic! But I love his eyes the most. The red glow blends in fantastically with his black fur, it adds a touch of "evil" to the picture (although I am against wolves being demonised in the real world, seeing as how I love those little critters but we won't get into that here on your lovely artwork! ).
Little Red Riding Hood looks so innocent! I wish I could warn her how dangerous her meeting with Mr. Wolf would be! Her boots are adorable, as is the rest of her outfit (which you've done spectacularly well where shading is concerned!!).
Awww! I wish you had the time to upload more, I love looking at your fantastical artwork.

Oh, this is my favourite yet!

I love the look on Red Riding Hood's face. So happy and childlike! And the contras of the wolf is wonderful. Cute, funny, and a little scary all at once. Keep up the amazing work!
