Not the most attractive or popular species of the bird world - a rook.

However i'm pushing myself to take shots of subjects I wouldn't normally consider recently and I like how this one turned out. Exposure was tricky with this - bright light, dark subject but it held.

Despite what it looks like - there is still detail in the birds shadon across is body! It just looks really dark on screen lol.
