its looks like a small crow with feathers missing on its face! I've never seen these birds before, but they look very much like those crazy crows that eat the chipmunks nuts outside.

Juvenile rooks have nasal bristles,when they grow up they lost. Also grey crow (Corvus tristis) have no nasal bristles.

ahahah rooks are awesome. I've seen them taken as quarry by a harris hawk in falconry once. good shot!

lol it's on youtube.com. search for something called driveby hawking, go to a user called earslikeahawk, and look for a harris on a rook.
