Description Thalia Grace from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and the Heroes of Olympus series. Thalia is just so stinkin' awesome, I love drawing her! By far my favorite character in the books!

Way to wait until the next one in the series comes out, (it won't be here until fall 2011) sadly. The sequel series has so far been just as awesome as the original, not to mention that one of the main characters is a complete carbon copy of Axel's personality in KH (I'm refferring to Leo... please tell me I'm not the only one that got that vibe!), which frankly wins the series extra extra awesome points! I highly recommend these books. If you haven't read them yet, READ THEM PLEEEEEAASEEEEE!

Anyway, I tried to get the lighting right on the picture, but the copics were hating me... -.- Do you think it turned out okay?

Thanks! I tried to base her appearance off of all the details they used to describe her physical appearance in the book so that fans of the series would find her design recognizable. Thank you so much, I am glad my design did her justice. ^v^ I actually did not run in to the official illustrations of the characters until recently, so it was interesting to see how the illustrator portrayed them versus how I had pictured them in my head. I should do some more PJ fan art, I definitely want to draw at least Nico, Hazel, and Leo as well. ^v^ Thank you so much for the comment!

Sure! I need to. I noticed my drawings of Thalia are really well-like by a lot of people on here, so I should do a new drawing of her! Especially since my art has improved since.

Haha, no problem! ^v^ After all, Thalia might be tomboyish, but she's still a girl after all. Yeah, I noticed that some fanarts of her do make her look a little too boyish. Ooh, and my art has gotten a lot better since this picture. This picture is, like, over two years old now. Maybe I should do an updated Thalia drawing.

Thnks you so much! Yeah, I remeber that the book mentioned her wearing skull earings, so I added the detail in. It is one of my favorite patrs too!

Thank you! I worked really hard on working out all the mistakes in this picture before I inked it, so that helped it work out. Usually, though, I am not this patient, so most of my stuff isn't as nice or as polished as this... Thank you so much, I am glad that you like my picture!

Oh yes, Leo is awesome! (Best Axel clone ever!) Leo is definitely on my Percy Jackson fanart "to-do list" along with Percy, Anabeth, and Nico. I will try to get around to him when I can!

Thank you! I love drawing her! ^v^ Yeah, the moment I started reading Leo's dialogue I immedately though "Axel," so when he started wielding fire later on, I seriously freaked out! Hmm, I can't say I like one better than the other, my only complaint about Axel is that there are parts where he acts rashly in ways that don't make sense, like the developers just tacked on parts like that with him to raise the tension or drama or something. I really wish they didn't do that with him... it was a really contrived point in that character... Okay, you win, Leo is an improved version of him! Come to think of it Leo is one letter off from Lea (Axel's real name.)

Never thought of that.
There is a lot of things in Lost Hero that reminds me of Kingdom Hearts. Cause Jason can be another Roxas, since they are both almost "perfect". And Piper is almost like...Xion? 0___0 (Since they are much more powerful than they seem...?)

Yeah, they totally reminded me of those three the moment I started reading. Also, the whole amnesia cliche with Jason makes him VERY Roxas-ish. Yeah, I really think that Riordan got some heavy influence from that game. That, or this is one of the most freakish coincidences of all time. But, yes, I totally got a Kingdom Hearts vibe from The Lost Hero.

Oh, you should! They are quite excellent! They are about Greek mythology set in modern times. It's really well-done, I have no criticisms for it, which is a pretty big thing for me. Oh, and thank you for the kind comment! Yeah, it is hard for me to do lighting, but I am working on it! Thank you!
