Behold Thalia Grace! Done in a dark marker, and faber castle colour pencils. Please comment! ^-^Oh, and i realised something. I spelled 'Lieutenant' wrongly on her cropped jacket. -__-"
And yeah, her face is kinda wide and whatnot but gimme a break, mm'kay?

One of the best Thalia drawings I've seen actually. I'd love to see how you'd draw Jason and perhaps the others from the Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus books as well.

But actually this was done nine months ago when I first joined deviantart...so compared to my skills now, this like looks like *ahem* crap, to me. I was thinking of redoing this one and adding on the other characters too.

Well in that case I still stick by my opinion and think it's awesome. Also if you're thinking of re-doing it and adding on the others then might I suggest a bro-sis pic of Thalia and Jason? That is, if you've read The Lost Hero already and know who he is/what he's described to look like.

And the strange thing is the two siblings look nothing alike whatsoever even though they share the same mom....

They did say Thalia was born first remember? She was born when her mom did it with Zeus in his Greek persona and wanted to try it again later on with him in his Jupiter persona. Also let's not forget Thalia was rebellious against her mom so she most likely dyed her hair and changed her looks a bit to distance herself from her mother. I don't know if they explain it more in Son of Neptune cause (against my will) I haven't read it yet (and damn do I want to read it).

I've managed to read the first chapter from walking around the stores with my face stuck in the book every chance I get so I know it's working around Percy and the kids at the Roman camp (can't remember the name for it). I figured they'd start it off with the first book introducing Jason, Leo and Piper and the second would tell what Percy was up to and introduce the Roman demigods a bit more before they all met up. After all, they did say "Seven demigods would answer the call" right?

Now here's where the spoilers for me begin. I just want to see if anymore children of the Big Three show up or what. But I'm getting the feeling the seven demigods are going to end up being Jason, Piper, Leo, Percy, Annabeth, and the three from SoN.

Well, technically, Percy is considered part of the trio from SoN.
Rick hasn't announced it yet either(I think...) but that's what i'm speculating too. After all no other demigods hold a big enough role to be one of the seven. Plus there's hints and stuff dropped along the way about the identities of the seven, so I have to agree with you.

It's not really hints, more like "Here's three new demigods for the first new book and now we're going to bring back the main star in the newest one plus another two new demigods. That makes six." And we all know Percy usually can't figure out how to get out of a wet paper bag without Annabeth around so you know she's going to be involved.

I'd love it if he ended up throwing in a curve ball and was like "Surprise, these new children of the Big Three/Minor Gods are actually part of the team and not who I've shown you." For some odd reason I have some high hopes that they're more kids of the Big Three and I have no idea why. Maybe so Nico and Percy aren't as lonely or something, just don't know.

I find it pretty hard to believe that Percy could be the only demigod child of poseidon. After all, both Hades and Zues have broken the pact more than once, and it'd be a bit odd to think that Poseidon was the only one who remained chaste throughout the whole thing.

Well actually I don't really find it all that hard. After all, Zeus had Thalia and Jason but in Greek mythology he was always a horn-dog. Hades had the twins but he tried to hide them as long as possible and they were born when WWII was happening, the oath didn't happen till right after if memory serves. I can believe Poseidon wouldn't have any demigods seeming as he's the one who "tries" to cause the least trouble. Plus I doubt that mermaid bitch he's married to would allow him to do it anymore after how she treated Percy and his mom.
