I guess I should give you a rundown of what you'll be expecting here.
I draw traditionally and digitally, but I mostly post only digital because I've got no scanner and my phone has shit camera quality. I also write! But my fics mostly go on FF.Net.

Lately I've been trying to tell people NOT to take the rant seriously. And people from the 90s can still watch today's cartoons. It's just that overrated shows like Adventure Time and Spongebob really piss me off. That's all I'm saying.

They're just too freaking overrated. I mean Rocko was extremely overrated by its cult fanbase, I'll admit, but shows like Invader Zim, Ren & Stimpy, Spongebob and Adventure Time...those are just annoying completely overrated crap that no one will stop talking about.

I don't really see the appeal of Adventure Time, to be honest, because the idea of 'omg so random = funny' is really annoying to me, but this caters to child audiences. Though, the ones you mentioned are overrated and talked about a lot, that's true.

The reason I can tolerate Rocko's Modern Life's incredible overratedness lately is because personally the show really is freaking godly. It's like Spongebob if Spongebob was aimed at an older audience and actually deserved the amount of praise it gets...I grew up watching Spongebob by the way

You would have to see the amount of s*** that was slipped into the show (and the amount of satire in the show) to understand. There's a reason why it was considered a contemporary of Ren & Stimpy. There are references to voyeurism, cuckold, nudity, Hell, smoking, voyeurism, prostitution, nudism, pornography, testicle removal (cut), gay/hotel sex (cut), masturbation, strip poker, neutering, childhood abuse, fetishes, arousal, censorship, and a bunch of other things along with social and political satire. And the show was literally rated TV-Y.

There are a lot of shows loaded with sexual innuendos ideologically sensitive material in it, but it's well-hidden and subtle, and I doubt that children would ever find out lest they grow up.

Rocko's almost-complete lack of subtlety with its subliminal messages and satire was f***ed up and hilarious. Regular Show was kind of funny too. I only hated a few of the things that I said I hated (Fanboy & Chum-Chum being an obvious example).

Lack of subtlety? I think I should watch that. I think it still airs in my country in Nickelodeon... Regular Show is better than Adventure Time, in my book. lol in my country, Fanboy and Chum-Chum is a dead case.
