As kid I always loved the concept behind the scissor hands in the movie and how they managed to look like hands, but at the same time be fully functional scissors, and I honestly think you caught that very well with those details. The realism on this itβs like watching a picture.
Youβre very talented.

great piece dude, both hugely technical and atmospheric.
I notice you said you use createx reduced and run it through an Iwata HP-CH, what do you reduce it with and what kind of psi are you using?
I'm struggling to get both consistent flow and no overspray with mine

i use regular tap water , i put my paint in a non wax dixie cup , reduce it , then stir it good with a end of a paint brush, then spray. And i use about 25-30 psi.

The davy jones peice is like that, 5 diffrent greys and black and white so 7 colors. But i perfer the hard reduced black better. Im doing a peice right now thats over reduced black. Im just kickin it painting and listing to some tunes. So sorry if theres a delay in btween my messages. But i also like to work with many greys aswell. Let me know if you want a copy of the Davy Jones Tutorial for the group. People really liked it cause alot of people that work with diffrent shades of grey there colors muddy up fast when they do there highlights with white. So i try to explain the corrent way to use greay with adding highlights.
