Nice man! Lovely smooth shades and a real classic photo look. We were looking through all the old photos of our grandparents a while back and this just has that kind of wonderful 'old-school photogrpahy' feel to it.

Haha I hate when something like that happens. I'm forever leaving bits of my work accidentally unshaded then having to roll back into CS4 and sort it out xD.

Yea all airbrush freehand. Was fun to do. Ive tried useing mixed medium before with paintbrush , and it looked awful so i dont know any tricks when it comes to the hairy stick. Do you use it much ?

I use it to much! problem is my airbrush is a old school paasche vl.
it's a solid tool, but it's siphon feed and wont pull paint up in that small of an amount (without spitting) doesent matter how thin the paint or how many psi, i have every tip for it, teflon tape on the tip threads.
the old girl just wont do it..
i guess it's time to upgrade my gun, you have any suggestions? brand?model? price is always important cheap is good, but i want a good gun as well. i need a gun that will shoot all type of paint.

Anything iwata is going to treat you right. The revolution series brushes are all teflon packaed and you can shoot solvents through them and there at a great price. I really like the HP-CH myself but they are pricey. Checkem out if you get a chance. I would go with gravity fed model aswell.

I can shop like a woman! already added 15 airbrushes to my watch list.
think im set on highline, hp-bh, it has a smaller 0.2 tip the hp-ch is 0.3
new on ebay for $95 -$200 buy it now price. found 2 open packages never used bids at around $50. Drooling over the custome micron-c 0.18 tip
but at $375-$600 thay can keep it.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction i will chek out coast airbrush as well. i priced the revelution guns the only thing i diddent like was the needle tip 0.5 mm about the same as my paashe.
my paashe works great i just need somthing for fine details.
i always sleep on it , will order tomorow. Thanks man.

Sure no problem, the hp-bh is a good brush , aswell as the micron. I have a micron but i only use it for urethanes. Didnt like it much for waterbased, clogs to much. Thats why i perfer the hp-ch, and i can still pull hairlines with it. I can understand you not likeing the .5 , i didnt know how cheap you wanted to go, and thats like baseline airbrush , thats good quality. But going from pachee to iwata your going to see a huge diffrence in quailty and control !! Becareful with the .2 .18 nozzle brushes , you may regret it later if you paint with waerbased.

im glad i slept on it, becouse i think your right i may be jumping the gun with the 0.2 brush. even the 0.55 gives me problems drying at the tip
with ceartain paints, the hp-ch sounds like the better choice overall.
Thanks again for all your advice, my work is really getting better with every peace i do. it sounds a little corny but i probably wouldent be trying as hard without guys like you healping me out.

No worries bro, were all friends , i want to see my friends do great and get what they need. Also i meant to tell you. I have been useing the Peak C-5 recently, its a .3 nozzle , teflon packed , solvent proof, rust proof, chrome, and parts are VERY affordable. And the price is under 90.00 , i think that even comes with a new hose free. [link] heres what she looks like. I have a good friend named Mike Learn that lives here in colorado. He sposored by Richpen and Peak brushes. I can get you a great discount !! He had 1 used for 50.00 last week, im sure it gone though. But i was very suprized at the quality for the money, great brush !!!
