WTF!? Spiderman!?? XD He's a little out of place, isn't he? I laughed really hard when I found him.

Hehe so you noticed the Art Adams touch eh? Yeah, I was very influenced by his style back then. Thx for the comparison

This is absolutely breathtaking! o_o

I can't believe, even after a daily featured piece, you haven't gotten more recognition here! This is phenominal work, and I intend to spread the word.

I only wish I could produce artwork HALF as intricate as this.

Just think in segments when you draw something like this up. Go over it part for part with an occasional overview of the piece as a whole now and then. It's really easier than it looks

Pictures like this one don't just pop up in my head and if they do they it's a very rare thing. Sure, the general concept does but after that it's just doodling around, testing composition and character designs, light and darkness, stuff like that. Pictures has the tendency to just grow and expand as I work with them. I have a few other similar ( detail- wise ) but rather large pieces in my head though and these are nearly complete. I'll presently make a few sketches of them, just have to let them mature a little bit more first.

I had a "finding Waldo" period back then. It was my way of paying homage to my unknowing childhood teachers, the comic book artists. Best school in the world and I owe everything to them. They taught me infinitely more than any "real" teacher ever could, them being real professional artist as opposed to school teachers of art who merely could only dream of accomplish the same thing on the same level. I will never forget them. If you want to really learn something about drawing, learn from the best in your own opinion. "Don't be bothered with the fact that they might be on levels far above you, aspire to become as great as they are or more" has always been my moto.
